What My Clients Say

Here you'll find reviews from professional athletes to everyday clients looking to get stronger.

Elvis Bonnin
Profesional Fighter, MMA, Boxins

I'm Elvis Bonnin, an MMA and boxing fighter. I started working with Patrón to build strength for situations in my sport—hitting harder, faster, and lasting longer in striking exchanges—and honestly, it’s working. I feel like I hit harder and can take more without getting as tired.I've also noticed I get injured less during fight camps, which are usually intense and used to leave me with constant aches. Now I can finish the week pain-free.Cutting weight has also become easier. With more muscle mass, I can deplete glycogen more effectively during the cut week.I originally started just for a fight camp, but now I’ve signed on for the whole year. The benefits are too good to pass up.

He’s a very attentive coach, always focused on proper technique and making sure each exercise is done correctly. But what truly sets him apart is his holistic approach: he doesn’t just care about the training itself, but also about how other factors like rest and stress impact your progress.

Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ)

In-Person Training in Calvià

Everything You Need to Know About My Coaching

Where do the sessions take place and what equipment is used?

Training sessions are conducted in a private facility in Calvià. The space is specifically equipped for the quantification and development of strength, omitting unnecessary commercial machinery. Calibrated equipment, power racks, Olympic barbells, and GPP tools (sleds and medicine balls) are used to allow for safe and measurable technical execution.

I am not a competitor; I just want to improve my health and body composition. How is the training structured?

Progress in health and body composition is approached quantitatively. The work focuses on the development of global strength, active mobility, and a safe progression of loads. Random circuits, unstructured methodologies (such as improvised HIIT), or unjustified jumping exercises are not used. Every training variable is measured to guarantee actual structural adaptations.

I compete in Combat Sports (MMA, Boxing, BJJ). How is the physical preparation structured?

Conditioning for fighters is governed by the conjugate system. Maximum Effort (ME) and Dynamic Effort (DE) days are alternated, complemented by the Repetition Effort (RE) method for accessory work. Additionally, structured GPP is integrated using sleds, unilateral work, and anti-movement core stability to transfer strength to the octagon or ring without interfering with technical training.

How long is each session and how is the time divided?

In-person sessions last 60 minutes. Time is divided systematically: a warm-up focused on active mobility and Central Nervous System preparation, the main strength block according to the day's programming, and a final block dedicated to accessory work or GPP.

What is the cancellation and rescheduling policy for in-person sessions?

To maintain adherence to the programming and the mathematical progression of the plan, cancellations must be notified at least 24 hours in advance. Sessions canceled within this timeframe can be rescheduled subject to availability within the same billing month.

How is progress measured?

We conduct regular assessments of maximum strength (1RM), power, and sport-specific endurance. Key metrics—total volume, effective reps, and bar speed—are analyzed to adjust your plan and ensure consistent progress.

If you're a powerlifter, progress is reflected in increasing your squat, bench press, and deadlift numbers. If you're a fighter, it shows in more powerful strikes and greater impact resilience.

If you train for health your progress will be measure with the increase in intensity, better movement or the control of your body.
